One of the larger satellites of Uranus, discovered by W. Lassell in 1851. Images obtained by the Voyager 2 mission in 1986 showed the surface to be heavily cratered and crossed by fault scarps and valleys. Its appearance suggests that there has been considerable geological activity in the past. See also: Table 6. |
